Job Summary:
The Principal serves as the chief academic officer of St. Thomas Aquinas High School (STA), a co-educational Catholic secondary school for students in grades 9-12. The principal is directly responsible for all facets of the School’s academic programming including: continuous academic improvement, faculty, curriculum, and student development. Reporting to the President of STA, the principal is a senior leadership position with wide independence and authority. Responsibilities:

  • Embody and promote the mission of St. Thomas Aquinas High School through its Catholic culture, ministry of evangelization, and commitment to the formation and education of students spiritually, intellectually, socially, physically, and morally.
  • Shape and guide the programming in academics, campus ministry, discipline, and student life (co-curricular activities and events) in alignment with the mission, vision, and identity of STA, including scheduling, supervision, coverages, lunches, after-school programming, and security.
  • Maintain, design, implement, and monitor systems and procedures necessary to the successful functioning of the school. Manage the daily school operations and support key events.
  • Empower and effectively delegate to faculty and staff, acknowledging the central role of faculty and staff in providing holistic educational programming incorporating learning, reflection, and action. 
  • Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with internal and external stakeholders: students, parents, faculty, and staff.
  • Oversee professional development, hiring, and retention of educators and program leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to create meaningful change within the school community and engage faculty in implementing that change. 
  • Manage and guide department chairs for each of the school’s disciplines, including: English, Social Studies, Fine Arts, World Languages, Theology, Mathematics, and Science.
  • Engage and connect with families, honoring and elevating the role of parents as integral members of the learning community.
  • Gather and use data, including faculty and staff input, to assess and enhance work.
  • Assist in the development of short- and long-term plans and objectives for the overall operations of the school and its programs and activities, monitor progress, assure adherence, and evaluate performance in coordination with the President and in alignment with the strategic plan and long-term interests of the school.
  • Act in concert with the President’s leadership team, admissions, advancement, counseling, athletics, and communications teams to build relationships and implement coordinated initiatives that serve the priorities of the school.

POSITION TITLE:  Director of Finance

Position Summary

The Director of Finance (DoF) serves as the senior financial leader of St. Thomas Aquinas High School and is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the financial functions of the school. Reporting to the President and working closely with the Board of Directors and Finance Committee, the DoF ensures sound financial stewardship, transparency, and long-term sustainability in support of the school’s Catholic mission.

As the school’s primary financial professional, the DoF oversees all aspects of finance including accounting, budgeting, tuition management, payroll, financial reporting, audit coordination, and long-range financial planning. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on management of daily financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership

  • Advise the President and Board of Directors on financial strategy and long-term planning.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and develop financial forecasts.
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports and analysis for school leadership and the Finance Committee.

Accounting & Financial Operations

  • Manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and cash flow management.
  • Ensure accurate monthly and annual financial reporting in accordance with nonprofit accounting standards.
  • Maintain effective financial controls and policies.

Tuition & Revenue Management

  • Oversee tuition billing, collections, and financial aid administration.
  • Monitor receivables and support enrollment-based revenue forecasting.
  • Ensure proper stewardship and tracking of donations, grants, and restricted funds.

Payroll, Audit & Compliance

  • Oversee payroll processing and employee benefits administration.
  • Coordinate the annual independent audit and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Manage insurance coverage and financial risk management.

Financial Systems

  • Maintain and optimize financial systems, including QuickBooks Online, Paylocity, Blackbaud, GiveSmart, and Ramp.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive financial management experience, preferably in nonprofit or educational settings.
  • Strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles and internal controls.
  • Experience preparing financial reports for executive leadership and boards.

St. Thomas Aquinas High School is seeking a Girls Varsity Ice Hockey Head Coach to lead and grow our program. The Head Coach is responsible for building a positive, competitive, and values-driven team culture that supports student-athlete development, sportsmanship, and academic success.

Position Summary

The Girls Varsity Ice Hockey Head Coach leads all aspects of the varsity program, including planning and running practices, coaching games, overseeing player development, coordinating logistics, and maintaining strong communication with student-athletes, families, and the Athletic Department. The coach is expected to uphold and model STA’s mission and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and run effective practices that emphasize skill development, conditioning, teamwork, and hockey IQ.
  • Coach and manage all varsity games, including strategy, line management, and player evaluation.
  • Foster a positive team culture centered on sportsmanship, accountability, respect, and leadership.
  • Support the academic and personal growth of student-athletes; reinforce eligibility expectations and school policies.
  • Collaborate with the Athletic Director on scheduling, league requirements, rosters, and program needs.
  • Coordinate program logistics, which may include: team communication, equipment needs, transportation coordination, and ice time planning (as applicable).
  • Oversee and collaborate with assistant coaches and volunteers (if assigned), ensuring alignment with program expectations.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with players and families regarding schedules, expectations, and team guidelines.
  • Promote player safety and ensure best practices for athlete wellbeing, including adherence to concussion protocols and school/league safety rules.
  • Represent STA professionally with officials, opposing teams, league representatives, and the broader school community.
  • Support program growth and engagement (ex: encouraging offseason development, helping with youth/feeder connections, or coordinating team events), as appropriate.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of ice hockey fundamentals, strategy, and player development.
  • Prior coaching experience (high school, club, college, or comparable) or significant playing experience with the ability to lead a program.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional school events as required by the season schedule.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive, positive environment for student-athletes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Head coaching experience and/or program-building experience.
  • Knowledge of New Hampshire high school athletics and/or league rules (or willingness to learn quickly).
  • Current certifications such as USA Hockey Coaching Education Program (CEP), CPR/First Aid, and concussion training (or ability to obtain prior to season).

Summary: Performs cashiering duties, including general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service and dining room facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables. Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
  • Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards. Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
  • Stores foods in designated areas in accordance with wrapping, dating, and food safety and rotation procedures.
  • Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
  • Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
  • Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
  • Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
  • Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Relays relevant information to supervisor.
  • Performs sales transactions.
  • Enters sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
  • Makes change, accepts declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment.
  • Issues receipts to customers.
  • Follows standard procedures for issuing cash refunds.
  • Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring that cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards.
  • Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining service area cleanliness.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
