The Admission Process
St. Thomas Aquinas High School is not just a school – we’re a family! We strive to make our admission process personalized and welcoming for each individual student. This process is an opportunity for our staff to engage your child in conversation about how our high school can support, strengthen, and position him or her for a successful future. It is also an opportunity for your child to envision him or herself as an important and valued STA community member.

Come Visit St. Thomas
As in any meaningful relationship, getting acquainted is an important first step. We believe that the admission process is an opportunity for us to get to know your child, so we can learn more about his or her unique gifts, skills, and interests. At St. Thomas Aquinas, we delight in meeting each student and guiding him/her along his/her own unique educational path. We offer a wide variety of ways to get familiar with St Thomas Aquinas High School. Prospective students and parents can partake in the following activities:
- Campus Tours – Our campus tours are offered weekday afternoons starting at 3:00pm (flexibility available). These tours are generally one hour long and a great way to see our facilities, faculty, staff and students. Tours include showings of the main admission building, main academic building, visit classrooms, visit gymnasium/cafeteria, viewing of athletic fields, and more.
- Shadow Days – Our goal here at St. Thomas Aquinas High School is to make everyone feel welcome and to experience what it is like to be a student here. Perspective students will have the opportunity to sit in on two classes as well as have lunch with a current St. Thomas student. Shadow sessions start at 11am and go until the school day ends at 2:37pm. Here our future students will have the opportunity to see what classes are truly like and learn what “a day in the life” is like!
- Open Houses – Join our faculty & staff for a night at the school to speak with Teachers, Guidance Counselors, and Admission personal for more information about the school
