Job Overview
St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Dover, NH is seeking a qualified FRENCH TEACHER for grades 9-12 for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will:

● possess a strong subject background, teaching experience, and a solid understanding of high school curriculum in French.
● demonstrate an understanding of and implement the ACTFL Standards for proficiency based language teaching and learning.
● bring enthusiasm, energy, and passion to the classroom setting through a variety of teaching and learning practices.
● connect positively with both students and families.
● support the Catholic mission of the school and engage fully in the life of the school community.
● demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
● explore collaborative and interdisciplinary teaching relationships with colleagues.
● use educational technology as a means for student gains and instructional design.
● possess a high level of emotional intelligence.

Education and Experience
● A Bachelor’s Degree in French or related field is required, with a Master’s degree preferred.
● One to three years of high school teaching experience, or applicable practicum/related program, is preferred.
● Possession of New Hampshire state certification in appropriate subject area and/or the ability to work toward state certification.

Job Summary and Expectations
Under the supervision of the Principal and Department Chair, the Teacher:

● assumes responsibility for the leadership and management of the classes they are assigned.
● strives to achieve the goals of the St. Thomas Aquinas Mission Statement, the Catholic faith, and values.
● develops and implements a daily instructional program according to the needs of the students and the established curriculum.
● recognizes and incorporates the rich diversity of the students in the classroom and their unique God-given talents to foster a culture of belonging.
● maintains accurate records of attendance, scholastic achievement, etc. as required by the school, diocese, and state.
● establishes positive public relations within and outside the school community.
● commits to ongoing professional learning and growth.

St. Thomas Aquinas High School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Track Coach to lead and inspire our student-athletes for the upcoming season. The ideal candidate will have a passion for track and field, a commitment to fostering sportsmanship, and the ability to motivate students to reach their full potential both on and off the track.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and conduct daily practices and training sessions
  • Teach fundamental and advanced track and field techniques
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive team environment
  • Supervise athletes during practices, meets, and travel
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all team members
  • Promote academic achievement and personal growth among athletes
  • Maintain equipment and track facilities

Qualifications:

  • Previous coaching experience in track and field (preferred)
  • Knowledge of various track and field events and training methods
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with athletes, parents, and staff
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Commitment to the mission and values of St. Thomas Aquinas High School

Job Overview
St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Dover, NH is seeking a part-time BUS DRIVER for athletic events. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent people skills, and the ability to navigate various routes efficiently. As a Bus Driver, you will:

● be responsible for transporting passengers to their destinations in a timely and safe manner.
● need to adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
● need to maintain the cleanliness and condition of the bus.
● transport athletes to away games.
● need to manage your time effectively to make sure that you follow the schedule and make adjustments as necessary to accommodate traffic or other delays.

Requirements and Experience
● Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
● Clean driving record.
● At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
● High School/Trade School degree preferred.
