New Hampshire Education Freedom Accounts
An STA education may be more affordable than you think. New Hampshire’s Education Freedom Account (EFA) program, administered by Children’s Scholarship Fund New Hampshire, provides funding that eligible families can use toward private school tuition and other approved educational expenses. Families may apply regardless of household income, subject to program eligibility and availability.
For the 2026–2027 school year, typical EFA funding was approximately $3,900 per student. Students with qualifying disabilities or greater financial need may receive additional funding. Individual awards vary based on program criteria.
STA asks all New Hampshire families to apply through Children’s Scholarship Fund as soon as the application becomes available. We encourage you to explore this opportunity as you plan for your child’s education.

Applying for Financial Assistance
Families seeking need-based tuition assistance can apply online through Blackbaud Financial Aid Management.

After submitting your application, Blackbaud will identify the documents required for your family. You can find this information on your submission confirmation page, in your confirmation email, and under the Documents tab in your account.
Required documents may include:
- Federal income tax returns, including Form 1040
- W-2 forms
- Pay stubs
- Business tax forms and supporting schedules, if applicable
