Let’s Get to Know Each Other
We invite your family to explore campus on a tour and your child to experience student life through Shadow a Saint. These visits give you a chance to ask questions, meet our community, and discover how STA could support your child’s growth. They also help us get to know the student behind the application.
Visit our Admission Application Portal and follow the instructions to access and complete your child’s application. The online application is required for both incoming ninth graders and transfer students.
A $50 application fee is due when you submit.
Step 2: Request Recommendations and School Transcripts
Recommendations help us get to know your child as a learner and a member of their school community. We request recommendations from your child’s English teacher, math teacher, and school counselor.
Follow the instructions in the application portal to request these recommendations and sign the transcript release form, which authorizes your child’s school to share their academic records with STA.
Step 3: Apply for Financial Assistance (If Needed)
Families seeking need-based tuition assistance should complete a separate Blackbaud Financial Assistance Application. This application helps us understand your family’s financial circumstances and determine eligibility for assistance.

Currently, submissions of standardized tests such as SSAT and HSPT are optional.
Yes. We request letters of recommendation from the student’s math teacher, English teacher, and school counselor.
You may submit a letter of recommendation given by a teacher from 7th grade.
Any administrator, head of school, or principal can be substituted for a counselor.
