The St. Thomas Aquinas Health Office and Athletic Training Team support a healthy learning environment for all STA students. As part of our mission, we believe in providing and maintaining an environment that encourages the healthy development of students in mind, body and spirit.
School Nurse
Our full-time school nurse, Erin Gauthier, provides a variety of services, including the administration of daily medications as needed, comforting students who become ill throughout the school day, and providing privacy for each student as medical issues arise.
Erin is a Registered Nurse who has worked in many different specialties since her graduation in 2003. Over the years Erin has immersed herself in Post Surgical Orthopedic care, Wound Care, Urology, Home Health Care, Private Duty Home Care for terminally ill children, and as a 1:1 RN / Education Tech for medically fragile students at a local school for children with special needs. Before joining STA, Erin was providing Nursing Substituting services for Portsmouth, Hampton, and Exeter school districts.
Erin reports a passion for providing a supportive role in health, and wellness here in the school setting so that all students can focus on the business of learning and achieving their own personal success.
