STA Named Best Private School

Students hold plaque for Best Private School
(L-R) Zach Pitts '21, Gabbie MacNeil '20, Sam Rogers '18, Clare MacRitchie '18 proudly share in STA's achievement.

Each year, Seacoast Media Group (a unit of Local Media group that publishes five weekly newspapers and one daily along the coasts of New Hampshire and York County, Maine) facilitates a People’s Choice contest. From a long list of categories, residents around the Seacoast are encouraged to vote for their favorite businesses, restaurant establishments, educational institutions, services, etc. Earlier this month, St. Thomas Aquinas High School learned that it had won the recognition of the “People’s Choice” and was awarded the Best Private School in the Seacoast.

What makes this award so special to St. Thomas Aquinas is that it wasn’t earned from the outside in but rather the other way around. It is our STA family- students, parents, siblings, alumni, faculty, staff, friends, and partners- who won this award for St. Thomas Aquinas. Accompanying each vote was an inferred gesture of loyalty, pride and love for a school that continues to serve young people in its Catholic mission.

Thank you to each and every person who voted for St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Know that your faith in STA is matched by the school’s commitment to you, your family and to all future Saints who will pass through the doors of 197 Dover Point Rd.
