Hunchback in Portsmouth

Mdme. Chamberlain and her French IV class enjoy a bite to eat at Maison Navarre, a French patisserie in Portsmouth.

At St. Thomas Aquinas High School, education isn’t just for Monday-Friday. On Sunday, February 18, our Level IV Honors class went to see “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” at the Seacoast Repertory Theater in Portsmouth. Having just completed Victor Hugo’s French Romantic/Gothic novel, the class (accompanied by their teacher Madame Chamberlain) seized this opportunity to enjoy the local drama, each other’s company, and their shared love of all things French.

As Mdme. Chamberlain noted, “Of course, no play would be complete without a visit to the French patisserie, Maison Navarre.”  C'est délicieux!
