Isabelle Hanna named to the Gettysburg College Dean's Honor List

Isabelle Hanna (STA Class of 2016) of Rye was placed on the Gettysburg College Dean's Honor list for outstanding academic achievement in the Spring 2020 semester.

Students with a quality point average of 3.60 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) for a semester's work are placed on the College's Dean's Honor List.

Founded in 1832, Gettysburg College is a highly selective four-year residential college of liberal arts and sciences with a strong academic tradition that includes Rhodes Scholars, a Nobel laureate and other distinguished scholars among its alumni. The college enrolls 2,600 undergraduate students and is located on a 200-acre campus adjacent to the Gettysburg National Military Park in Pennsylvania.

 

Brendan Tersolo of Berwick, ME, has been named a Presidential Scholar at Clarkson University

Brendan Tersolo (STA Class of 2020) of Berwick, ME, a freshman majoring in engineering and management, was named a Presidential Scholar for the fall 2020 semester at Clarkson University.

Presidential Scholars must achieve a minimum 3.80 grade-point average and carry at least 14 credit hours.

Ian McCann earns a spot on the Dean's List at Coastal Carolina University

Ian is an STA graduate of the Class of 2019

More than 2,300 undergraduate students at Coastal Carolina University were named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2020 semester, including Ian McCann a Finance major from York, ME (03909).

 

Erin Casey Admitted to Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences Department of Nursing inducted Erin Casey (STA Class of of 2017) of Newmarket into the Kappa Tau Chapter of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society on October 19, 2020. To receive this honor, students must have completed at least half of the nursing curriculum with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher; rank in the top 35% of their graduating class; and meet expectations of academic integrity.

 

Marleigh Tetreault (2017), Annie O’Donnell (2016), and Kate Breton (2017) have been named to the spring 2020 Dean's List at Loyola University Maryland.

In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

Established in 1852, Loyola University Maryland is a Catholic, Jesuit comprehensive university comprising Loyola College, home to the University's arts and sciences programs; the Sellinger School of Business and Management; and the School of Education. Loyola enrolls 4,000 undergraduate and 2,000 graduate students from across the country.

 

Isabelle Leonardi receives degree from Nichols College

Nichols College graduated over 300 students this spring. Virtual celebrations were held for both undergraduate and graduate recipients on May 2, 2020 with an in person commencement ceremony promised for a date to be determined.

Isabelle Leonardi (STA Class of 2016) of North Hampton, N.H., graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing.

 

Jordan Fjeld Named to UA Deans List

Jordan Fjeld (Class of 2017), of Rollinsford, NH, (03869), was named to The University of Alabama Deans List for spring 2020.

A total of 16,470 students enrolled during the 2020 spring term at UA were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's).

The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or to undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

 

Anika E. Nelson (STA Class of 2016) was named to Husson University's Spring 2020 President's List

Nelson is currently enrolled in Husson's Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.

Students who make the President's List must carry at least 12 graded credit hours during the semester and earn a grade point average of 3.80 to 4.0 during the period.

 

Francesca Ragonese of Merrimac named to James Madison University dean's list

Merrimac, MA resident, Francesca Ragonese (STA Class of 2018), has been named to the dean's list at James Madison University for the spring 2020 semester. Students who earn dean's list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899. Ragonese is an international affairs major.
