Class of 1972- 50th Reunion!
Save the dates!
Friday Sept 9th 7-10pm: Drop in for cocktails at the rooftop bar at the AC Hotel by Marriott, 299 Vaughn St. Portsmouth. This downtown waterfront location boasts a great harbor view and is convenient to many of the area hotels.
Saturday Sept 10th 6:30 – 11:00 pm: The main event will be held at the Venue at 22 Portwalk Place, also in downtown Portsmouth. The evening will include dinner, a cash bar and a great space to mingle for a ticket price of $75-$100 per person, depending on attendance.
Sunday afternoon Sept 11th: Elaine Portrie Laurie has graciously offered her New Durham home for a casual outside event, weather permitting.
While we had hoped that Covid would no longer be a factor, the trends are still hard to predict. This influenced selection of the Venue for our indoor event. It is a large and well-ventilated space with doors that open to a small outside patio.
Please reply to this email and let us know which of these events you will likely attend (even if it is none) by June 15th. This is critical for setting ticket prices for Saturday evening (so that the costs are covered) and very helpful in planning for the other events. We anticipate offering tickets for sale in July.
Finally, please join our Facebook page STA Class of 1972. It will provide reunion updates and posting of photos from high school and previous reunions (for inspirational nostalgia).
