Canned Food Drive
October 7, 2008The Saint Thomas Community gathered for a prayer service in the gym this morning to mark the start of the annual canned food drive. Students are encouraged to bring in non-perishable food items between now and October 17. The food will be donated to Lazarus House in Lawrence, Massachusetts, a homeless shelter that helps the poor and homeless by providing hot meals, temporary shelter, job training, child care, emergency food, clothing, outreach and advocacy.
