We Have Spirit, Yes We Do!
September 22, 2008The STA Community's favorite week, Spirit Week, is underway. This year, for the first time, Spirit Week became a part of Homecoming Weekend, with the first STA Spirit Week Carnival. Continuing on through the week, many more fun days and activities are planned. A few of the highlights include:
Monday- Sports Day; Students, teachers and staff dress up to show their favorite teams, sports or other sports themed outfit.
Tuesday- Character Day; Students, teachers and staff dress up as their favorite characters- historical, fictional or contemporary!
Wednesday- Class Color Day! Students earn points for wearing the color assigned to their class! Also, Wednesday is Field Day!
Thursday- Twin Day; Find someone in your class to pair with and dress up in the same outfit!
Friday- Blue and White Day, Quiz Bowl Finals, and the week concludes in the evening with Spirit Week Coffeehouse!
Don't forget that all week long, students can bring in money to donate to the Lazarus House as part of Coins from Heaven.
