Giving
"Building Community Through Commitment"
We, at St. Thomas, are grateful to our community members who realize their gifts do provide an
EDUCATION THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE.
Aquinas Fund - July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009
As a regional Catholic school, St. Thomas receives no subsidy from area parishes or the Diocese. Funding comes directly from tuition and the generosity of our community of parents, alumni and friends.
The Aquinas Fund is the primary source of funding beyond tuition and its growth allows us to maintain an affordable cost to a Catholic education.
Donations to The Aquinas Fund support our entire program; academics to co-curricular activities, competitive faculty wages and financial aid to students based upon need.
Our thanks to all of our supporters and a special thank you to the 2008-09 Aquinas Fund Team. The Aquinas Fund Campaign runs from July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009
GIVE ONLINE TO THE AQUINAS FUND
The Megan DeColfmacker '99 Scholarship Fund
Give Online to the Megan Fund
Established in memory of Megan DeColfmacker ’99 by Michael and Laurie Connell Steinberg ’71 and employees of Relyco Corp., this scholarship is awarded to a member of the senior class based on financial need and a 500-word written essay on what he/she will do to make the world a better place.
The Michael Sakowski '73 Scholarship Fund
Give Online to the Sakowski Scholarship Fund
Established in 2004 by the Class of 1973, this scholarship is funded by a yearly appeal. This scholarship is granted to students in any grade level who demonstrate financial need beyond the set cap for grants. The scholarship is intended to make up that difference between what St. Thomas is able to grant and the actual cost of tuition.
Aquinas Fund donations help us retain an excellent teaching faculty, continually upgrade our campus technology, provide financial aid and more. The Aquinas Fund allows us to go beyond the ordinary and to use opportunities throughout the year to expand our program and possibilities.
Giving to St. Thomas can also be done with a Legacy Gift such as through your will, a trust arrangement, or an insurance policy, or an IRA or retirement plan. Gifts of securities are also accepted and can help you avoid capital gains taxes by gifting the stock directly to St. Thomas, which is a 501 (c) 3.
Other giving opportunities include donating, sponsoring and/or participating in our fall Golf Open and our spring Auction, which beyond raising funds for the school, are great social events for our community.
