Mrs. Maskwa is in her 28th year of teaching at St. Thomas Aquinas. She received her BA from UNH and her teaching certificate from St. Anselm's College. From there, she went on to teach at Bundamba State High School in Queensland, Australia for three years. While in Australia, she continued her art studies in Brisbane, Qld. Upon her return to the U.S., she spent several summers working in Greece as an interpreter/escort for Interhostel. She also has worked on archeological digs in Greece and in South Berwick, Maine. She loves experiencing different cultures, in particular, Asian and Russian cultures. Other interests include going to galleries and museums, reading poetry, and ice hockey. She makes her home in Somersworth with her husband Paul (STA class of '65) and four children, James (STA class of 2003), Katherine (STA Class of 2006), Sarah (STA Sophomore), and Rebecca (7th grade).
