Marie Hardy has a BA in Zoology from the University of New Hampshire. She has been teaching a variety of biology courses (including Marine, Anatomy & Physiology, Honors and AP) at STA since 1999. She is probably best known among her students for the "Infamous Hardy Bug Project".

Prior to teaching, Ms. Hardy did research in the departments of endocrinology and pharmacology at Baylor College of Medicine and the UT Med School in Houston, Tx.

In addition to teaching biology, Ms. Hardy is the director of choreography for the Drama Club, coaches the STA Dance Team, supervises the Aquarium Club, and is an advisor to the class of 2008. Outside of school, she enjoys going to the beach and mucking around in tide pools!
