Linda Pedersen received her B.A. degree in French from Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts. Before coming to St. Thomas Aquinas High School in 1992, her various careers included stay-at-home wife and mother, craft store owner, gymnastics-wear design business owner, manager of a Hallmark department in retail, and substitute teacher. Now at St. Thomas Aquinas, Linda teaches French 1, 2 and 3. Professionally, she is an active member of the New Hampshire Association of World Language Teachers where she serves on the Executive State Board. She has also presented several workshops at the NHAWLT fall conference and at St. Thomas Aquinas on curriculum, assessment, and classroom pedagogy. In May 2001, Linda published a book of poems in collaboration with her daughter entitled: Words Like Pebbles: The Poetic Voice of Three Generations. The book is a collection of poems, which span a period of sixty years, written by Linda, her mother, Abbie, and her daughter, Jessica. Her future plans include publishing a collection of her father's stories of his boyhood escapades on a Maine farm. Linda and her husband, Bob, have lived in New Hampshire since the early 1970's. They have three children and four grand children.
