Mrs. Collins is a graduate of Nazareth College (Rochester, NY) and holds a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Connecticut. She is the Chair of the English/Fine Arts Department and has been on the faculty of STA since 1990.

Mrs. Collins lives in Dover with her husband and fellow-STA faculty member, Kevin. She is the mother of two STA alums.
