Math

Mr. Jason Strniste joined the STA faculty in 2003, and has taught Chemistry, Physical Science, Precalculus, and Calculus. After serving as Math Department Chair for two years, from 2005-07, Mr. Strniste currently serves as Administrative Chair of the Math and Science Departments. Mr. Strniste has moderated the school’s FIRST Robotics team for four years, since its inaugural season, and he is an enthusiastic user of technology in the classroom, having helped to pioneer SMART Boards and Moodle at St. Thomas. Originally from Rhode Island, where he attended Catholic schools from K-12, Mr. Strniste holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Dartmouth College and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Educational Administration at UNH.
