Theology

Dermot Luddy was born and raised in Cork, Ireland. He graduated with degrees in philosophy (B.A., B.Ph., M.A., L.Ph.) and in theology (B.D.) from Maynooth, before studying applied computing at the University of Limerick. Mr. Luddy traveled to New York City, receiving an M.Phil. from Fordham University in 2004. Mr. Luddy shares a swamp in Haverhill with his wife Meredith. They are the proud parents of Daniel (’13), Aidan (’13), Rachael (’15), Rory (’17), Morgan (’19), and Michaela (’21).

Mr. Luddy joined the faculty at STA in 2004, and teaches Introduction to Catholicism and Morality to freshmen, and Faith and Culture to seniors. He is happy to report that he isn’t half the man he used to be.
