9th-10th Grade Parent College Planning Meeting
Description
The speaker will talk primarily about how the college years can be financed—what you can be doing now in preparation for that inevitable first tuition bill. She will give you some resources, some reading, some education on the process.
She will distinguish between merit awards and need-based awards that come from the colleges themselves (institutional aid), federal financial aid programs, and loans. She will try to demystify the process a bit, especially for first-timers………………There will be plenty of time for questions.
