The St. Thomas Aquinas High School Athletic Program is an extension of the classroom. We believe that participating in interscholastic athletics enriches the educational experience of our students. Our student-athletes become well-rounded and engaged members of our community. The combination of academics and athletics fostered at St. Thomas Aquinas maximizes the overall experience for the entire family.
Director of Athletics, David Morissette
Mr. Morissette oversees all aspects of the athletic programs, including the management of twenty one sports, coaches and associated personnel, student-athletes, and facilities. Over 80% of the School’s students participate in STA’s sports programs.
He joined St. Thomas Aquinas High School in August of 2021. Before assuming his current position, he spent 18 years at Rivier University in Nashua, NH. He held the positions of Assistant Athletic Director, Head Men’s Basketball Coach, Head Softball Coach, and Head Cross Country Coach. Prior, David was the Assistant Athletic Director, Men’s Basketball Coach, and Head Softball Coach at Notre Dame College in Manchester, NH while also briefly serving as the Director of Athletics.
As a long term official, David has been a part of the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association (NHIAA), the New Hampshire Lacrosse Officials Association (NHLOA) and the New Hampshire Board 32 IAABO Basketball Officials group.
Morissette graduated from United States Sports Academy with a Master’s degree in Sports Science after receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from Plymouth State University. He resides in Exeter, NH with his wife Kristen with sons Cody and Joshua.

Summer Camps

Stadium Rental
St. Thomas Aquinas does offer facility rentals to outside groups and organizations. We offer outdoor facilities such as a baseball field, softball field, turf stadium (soccer, football, field hockey), along with an indoor gymnasium.
