A Note from Beth (wingren) Hartnett About the 25th Reunion
The twenty five year high school reunion is arguably the most perfect. Twenty five years serve to enrich the fond memories and soften the unsavory. When almost 40 or so members of the class of 1983 reconvened this summer, the years quickly faded away as old friends and acquaintances enjoyed an evening together at the Shipyard Brewpub in Eliot, Maine. Life joys were traded along with photos of children, homes, and experiences as well as stories of deaths, illness, and war. For some, the reunion sparked a renewal of friendship to include the new families of classmates, and for others, every five years is just about the perfect amount of time to relive those glory days.
